MR AHENKORAH MUST FACE THE LAW – FAPEMSO

Deputy Trade and Industry Minister Kingsley Carlos Ahenkorah has admitted that he visited voter registration centres with full knowledge that he had tested positive for Covid-19.
Defending his conduct in an interview on Asempa FM, Mr. Ahenokorah, the Legislator, claimed that he adhered to all the social distancing and health protocols, implying that he did not put anyone at risk. He said he felt he needed to show up in a public place with his Covid-19 status because he didn’t want his constituents to speculate on his absence at the start of the voter registration exercise.
This, the most vibrant and hottest political program on TV FAPEMSO driven by out spoken radio and television host C.O Sly lambasted the law maker for his negligence in endangering the lives of his constituents.
Videos circulating in the media however saw his followers gathered around him during his visitation to the registration centres and even at some point giving hug( squeeze (someone) tightly in one's arms, typically to express affection.)
Though he has resigned per the president’s directive FAPEMSO believes he needs be given stiffer punishment to serve as a deterrent to other parliamentarians.
